We have recently installed a state-of-the-art Topcon Digital Retinal Camera in our test room. This will allow us to take photographs of the back of your eye (the retina), and enable us to carry out a far more detailed examination than was previously possible. The image we take is similar to the one shown here, and our experienced optometrists can use this photo to diagnose the health and condition of your eyes.

Ronnie Glass returned to Northern Ireland in 1971 after graduating from The City University, London. He worked with J Lizars, Belfast for five years during which time he gained invaluable experience fitting complex contact lenses for the Royal Victoria and other major hospitals. Ronnie established his first practice in 1976 in Carrickfergus and still runs this and the Botanic Avenue, Belfast branch.
