Scotts Opticians is a family run business based in the rural county of Herefordshire. We have two branches, one in Ross-on-Wye (inside the Ross Community Hospital) and the other in Kington (on theHigh Street). We provide a full range of optical services to the local community including eye examinations, contact lens fitting, low vision aids, glaucoma screening and retinal photography.

Chris qualified in 2000 and has been providing eye examinations in Hereford since 2001 as an employed optometrist. As a rural county, Herefordshire has a shortage of locally based provision of eyecarefor those unable to access regular high street opticians. Chris aims to provide high quality, locally based independant optometry services in your home should you be unable to access a high street optician through either physical or mental disability.

We do not just do 'sight tests'. In five well-equipped consulting rooms we conduct the eye examination appropriate for you. We pride ourselves on taking the time to understand your needs in detail andcarefully explain why certain eye tests are necessary. This approach ensures we always carry out a thorough investigation of your vision, assess your eye co-ordination, examine your eyes for possible health problems, and offer advice on any specific occupational or recreational needs.

Peter Meredith Optometrist was established in 1995 in Leominster. Peter worked previously for independent family practices since qualifying in 1983.
