Fabulous customer service and very friendly staff. Have bought 2 pairs of Lindbergh glasses and a specialist pair of cycling glasses. All superb.

Absolutely loving my new glasses, they're super glam, been going to The Spectacle Shop for years now, I wouldn't go anywhere else, they always have something you can't pick up anywhere else in town and their customer service is second to none, I always leave happy. Thanks, guys.

I have not been anywhere else since going here. The whole team are so friendly and their customer service is fantastic. All the products they sell are of such high quality, I honestly would not go anywhere else. Excellent coffee too.

Philip Potter
Philip Potter, dispensing optician, qualified in 1996 from Bradford college and started the practice in 1997. “I enjoy dealing with the best products in the world because, once you know how good things can be, it becomes very hard to compromise. I am very passionate about the quality and design of good glasses. I have travelled to all the major trade fairs around Europe to look for new innovative products, and sometimes do get a bit disheartened by the growth of huge corporations where passion is replaced by the bottom line, with less consideration for the end user. Married with three daughters, I enjoy walking and a good country Pub!”.
Daniel Metcalfe
Daniel Metcalfe (Dan the Man) joined the team as a trainee technician in 2011 . Since stopped most of the in house manufacturing at the opticians in Barnsley, Dan is starting college in September 2015, training in dispensing. He is proving to be remarkable at consuming knowledge of products and has already built up a trusted following of customers who trust and respect his advice and growing knowledge of optics.
Rick
Rick joined the team in February of this year as an optical assistant following in the footsteps of his brother Matt who trained under Phil as a dispensing optician. He is enthusiastic and passionate about customer service and the quality of products that are offered in store. Rick joins from an advertising background and is also enjoying developing the internet presence for The Spectacle Shop.
