About the Business

There's been an optician on The Green in Stanford-Le-Hope since at least 1960, when Reg Staunton and Clive Notley acquired the premises and turned it into Staunton and Notley opticians. Over the years new owners have come and gone and provided the local population with high-quality, affordable eye care. In 2005 the current owner, Optometrist and local girl Lisa Neeps bought J N Ellis Opticians, as it was then, from Judith Ellis and in 2014 changed the name of the practice to Stanford Opticians.
