About the Business
Emma Richmond gained her BSc. in Optometry from the University of Wales in Cardiff and undertook her pre-registration year in a practice in the rural town of Blandford, Dorset. After registration as a fully qualified optometrist she stayed on with the long-standing family opticians for a further four years, during which time both owners eventually retired leaving her as the sole optician.
Upon returning to her native Northern Ireland Emma undertook locum work at the University of Ulster and in practices in Ballymena, Coleraine and Ballymoney before opening her own practice in Ballycastle.
