With the demolition of Central Buildings, one of the oldest businesses in Crosby has now moved to spectacular new premises. Glenn's Opticians was started in 1936 and 75 years on has moved to 89Liverpool Road, on the corner with Queen's Road (opposite Merchant Taylors Girls School). The Practice is now owned by Martin Glenn, who has practiced in Crosby for 40 years, following in his father's footsteps. Glenns may have a history but to enter the new premises is like stepping into the future.
