About the Business
Following a successful Locum business, where Richard gained vast experience working all over ireland, Sweeney opticians opened in Donaghadee in 2003. As demand grew, further practices opened in North belfast in 2005, Ards peninsula 2006 and more recently in East Belfast 2011. Sweeney opticians is well placed to provide a comprehensive service throughout antrim belfast and north down areas. When he married in 2003, his wife Kerry, a clinical psychologist, became an integral part of the business influencing the strategic development of the practice.
We are a family practice providing high quality service at affordable prices. We have practicies located in Belfast, Donaghadee, Portaferry and a partner practice located in Newtownabbey. With the latest eye test equipment, in-house glazing and a comprehensive range of frames, contact lenses and sun glasses, we provide our clients with the ultimate individual service.
